I just finished watching the S3 & K vid, and I immediately thought to myself that someone HAS to do this. I strongly support the making of this flick.

I found A web site at http://www.homeactionreplay.org & It has S3&K & other video game runs. The Sega ones are GMV files. When you get to the site click on Uploads.

Yeah, I recommend typing "Sonic%" into the Game Name search box of the Uploads page.

Um, yikes. Not only is the website difficult to navigate (the only full list I could find was a drop-down box, rendering my browser's find feature useless), the movies are score attacks, with little or no regard to time. Granted, score attacks work well in certain circumstances, but not Sonic.

Ok try the web site again http://www.homeactionreplay.org/search.php & type in Sonic where is says Game Name (free-form) & to download the GMV files click on Download. The site should work it did for me. Try it if it does not Work let me know.

Okay, so I finally decide to work on it and I actually managed to get past CNZ1. So what does the bloody movie do? It desyncs right at the end of MGZ2. ... Anyone got a better version of Gens or something, if that's the problem? I'm using 9c, and have been for god knows how long.

There are severly better versions of Gens out. The most important upgrade being that reloading saves out of order no longer destroys your movie (which was the most source of desynch). Check the Gens forum here.

By "reloading saves out of order", do you mean accidentally loading a savestate from way back, then loading the correct savestate after? It appears that doing this doesn't screw up the movie. And by the way, it has desynced at least twice before, right at the end of MGZ2. Weird. Anyway, I'll be going to find that newer version now.

That is what I meant, and doing that in an older version would destroy your movie. You're saying that works for you in Gens9c?

It doesn't really need to "work" as such, but yes, in 9c, it won't erase what you've done after loading a savestate. Anyway, that new version somehow undesynced my movie! Awesome. *continues working on movie* edit: It just desynced again. <.<

Walagata is now declared officially crap by me. Why? Because it disposed of its free accounts. I now use http://host-a.net , although I have yet to upload my S3&K movie there. I will upload it when I have completed CNZ2. And at this rate that will never happen because it keeps desyncing even with the newest version of Gens!! >.>

I'm glad to see the S3&K with all Chaos Emeralds topic back up again with some up dates. My last post on this topic was 12-24-2005. I hope to see more up dates soon, & I'm not in a rush to see them so just take your time.

I think I've shot my self in the foot now. I'm at the IceCap boss, but due to the spindash-jump-against-wall-bug, I can't do what Sprintgod did there, because I have Super Sonic. Any shield or Hyper Sonic will fix the bug, but Super Sonic won't work. Oh, and you'll notice that I died at the beginning of IC2 to get to Sonic's starting location. Not sure if this is worth the time or not... I'll post the run anyway. http://invhost.com/share/s3k_bobxp_9.gmv
