some glitchs lose a few frames, but i bilieve it's worth. those glitchs let the speed-run full of fun. such as "shadow rockman(magne hyaskulegger stage) , strike chain through the wall(sonic ostreague stage) , boss comes until you get rid of right or left(re-sonic ostreague)"those tricks just for fun. althrough they are slower than FractalFusion's run,i love.
other was useful tricks,"underneath grabbing of overhang conrners , strike chain catch the wall still can keep the fall speed fast(flame,gator,bubble...etc stage) , when boss died that you should stand on the highest(intro, gator, sonic, sigma castle 1,sigma castle 2,sigma castle 3)".
the other tricks i am not sure which one is fast,"go down with jumping jumping jumping at the third ladder in metamor mothmenos stage".
stage notice:
  • in bubble crab stage should avoid lag in the sea(x collet buster is one of the reasons and screen moveing when falling).
  • in magne hyaskulegger stage.you dash when the tiles drop in,don't make the dust.it will easy lag.
  • in serges stage.bubble can let your up speed more faster, but it will easy cause lag.and many area you can't use strike chain and speed burner
  • in vs zero stage.i even made a mistake that use the 昇龍拳 to close zero before FractalFusion has remind me.luckily i found used the 昇龍拳 at the very end that sigma still come fast(but still lose a few frames),it's worth that you can beat zero more faster.

That's a great movie, the glitches are fun to watch, and the use of Speed Burner and Strike Chain is very good, but i think that are some other parts when you can use one or both of these weapons... And if you remake this movie, please use the USA Version to make easier to say with perfection wicth movie is faster. And again, congratulations for the movie! :)

Metal Sonic, the site does not allow graphical signatures (and it's quite large too). Just letting you know.

Ok, sorry about the signature, i don't know. ^^" Well, i'm thinking in how this movie can be improved (not so much, but...). The route is already optimal, i guess. The playing skills is very good too, and unless a great glitch is used i can't think in other way to save too much frames.... I may be wrong, because i don't much about the game (i played it a lot, but your guys are awesome).

Why hasn't this submission been accepted and published yet? It's unfair that my submission for this game was published in 3 days, and this submission, an improvement over mine, is still here.

Because the one you're making is faster, and the queue for accepted runs is crammed as it is.

I'd rather see an any% run. I don't think getting the fire uppercut is faster at all, can't you kill all those bosses fairly quick if not very quick anyway like all MM games espically when TASed.

it is actually faster with 100% game (well not 100% cause he don't get the zero parts)

It is much much faster to get the Shoryuken than it is not to. Every pickup is on the level path, and none take up so much time that every boss from Sigil onwards will die fast enough to cross-compensate.

Once I did a rough calculation of how many seconds were spent detouring to the pickups vs how much was saved from the eight boss fights (1st fight length minus 2nd fight length). Counting just that difference in the eight boss battles the 100% was about 10 seconds behind. Im pretty sure this time is made up easily by sigma/zero/sigil battles and charged burner/chain usage.
This signature is much better than its previous version.

Who in the world is Sigil? I think you mean Serges. You can check this page:http://tasvideos.org/FractalFusion/MegaManX2.html (Comparison of a 100% run to a non-100%-run) The time taken to get each item is rather overestimated. I also threw out the Wheel Gator capsule time because it saves so much time that it's worth getting it. I'm also assuming 15 seconds difference for each boss battle where shoryuken could be used. For some battles, the difference is 10 seconds; for others, 20 seconds.

I'm really curious that 100% run to a non-100%-run which one is fast.

Interesting glitch... may be more useful in other places maybe? Have you tried exploring using other dashes and stuff to see if they work better? This may end up with someone finding a way to zip in this game! Hell ya... will vote YES on this if I could LOL
