Doesnt seem like there are any other improvements to the run. I hope that the same magic from Shadowgate could be used here though! :)

What version of Hourglass are you using, what options have you tried changing, are you sure "Paused" isn't checked, what version of Lyle are you running, is it a fresh download, what OS are you on, and can I see your log file (hourglasslog.txt)?
Oddly enough, When I tried it again just now, It works flawlessly. I was using Hourglass r11. I dont remember the settigns I canged and Im definitely sure Pause was unchecked.

I couldnt get Lyle in Cube Sector working. Everytime I open it up, It freezes on frame 0. But it advances only by 1 frame when I click on the Hourglass window. Frame Advance doesnt work either.

Awesome! I'll look into trying to improve it. Otherwise, great job! EDIT: Only saved 1 frame. However, It desynchs on the final boss. So I dont think this improvement can be in unless you find other improvements.

Voting No because of a trick that could save 2 minutes off this run.

[1819] Arcade Metal Slug 3 "2 players" by X2poet in 27:09.55 Like I said in the thread, It showed eccelent planning of weapons while being fast paced. It also shows great control of 2-players throughout the run.

Nope. The ball has to be in the air, above the boss's head on order for it to be registered as a hit. The balls were also manipulated there.
The boss's movement cannot be manipulated?
No it cant.

I also found a long jump trick, altough this was probably not what Randil was expecting. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/1555887363/st2-long%20jump2.fm2 I have yet to figure out how this one works, so it may not be useful for a while.

Found another one: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (NES) (~ 2 seconds faster than the current pub.) Unlike the other ones, I probably would have finished this one. But theres some sort of weird frame rule that I couldnt figure out. So I just abandoned this one.

I think [45] NES Snow Bros. "2 players" by DJ FozzBozz, RaverMeister in 16:45.05 should be mooned since it was the first movie on the entire site that controlled 2 players at once.

Isnt the strategy of using a password as a warp like in the video already used in TASes publidhed here? I know for sure that [1685] NES The Legend of Zelda by Baxter & jprofit22 in 22:38.13 & [1144] NES Metroid by Lord Tom in 08:19.32 use them so I dont see any harm of allowing them here.

If you have any WIPs of TASes that you stopped working on, post then here! I think it would be easier to post them in all one megathread instead of trying to look for individual topics to post them in sice it could be a hassle. Maybe someday, someone might want to pick it up & finish that run. For instance I have quite some unfinished WIPs that I would want to share. Marvel Land (Genesis) Tinhead (Genesis) Wonderdog (Sega CD) Wonderboy 3 - Monster's Lair (Genesis) High Seas Havoc (Genesis) Wrath of the Black Manta (NES) (~30 frames faster than the previous movie.)

Holy gigantic amount of anus. This run....I mean this run....HOLY CRAP! I loved everything about this movie. The execution, the planning, the carnage, the speed, and most of all....the hard work you have done to this run. The final mission has to be my favorite part out of all the whole run. Just slamming the UFOs & barriers with manipulated missles was so awesome to see. Forget what I said about Metal Slug X. THIS needs the star. Extreme Yes Vote with sugar and toilet paper. Very Very Very Very VERY nice job x2poet.

I was expecting this to be improved at some point. Nice job Aglar! Yes Vote. I'm also interested about these improvements to the 2-player run you mentioned at the end.

Why does it say "takes no damage" when you took damage while fighting Flurret (That's what it looks like =p)?
I dunno. I only looked at the actual stages for that goal. I didnt pay attention to the boss fights. I'll change it in a bit. ;)

Wow. And hear I am thinking this was the most unimprovable run from 2005. I'll have to watch in a bit.
