How to play 30fps games, 2 frames an input. I honestly don't know how to do it in Hawk, FCEUX (for example) has a special thing which allows you to do 2 frames in input. Then again, I haven't payed attention to latest Hawk as much.

You want CEN64 if you want an emulator which is aiming to becoming the first cycle-accurate N64 Emulator. BizHawk is using Mupen64Plus.

So, I did some ram search digging, just to a compatible timer for comparing the PCSX-rr and the Octoshock TAS. I found 5 values, 3 of them are useful, 2 of them is overal with the emulator, in different ways... boo. Out of the 3 that are useful, 1 of them is the true winner. The address which I say is the most useful is: 8213C This address ignores every transition by pausing the value. Well, what's the time Mr. Spike? PCSX-rr: 92666 (92604 end of input) - 349 = 92317 (92255) PSHawk: 92635 (92573 end of input) - 350 = 92285 (92223) Yes, that means your menuing was off, but whatever, that value gets ignored. So, this is an improvement of 32 frames.

Seconding the revenge of: [711] NES Gradius by adelikat in 10:52.35 And if we are going with Multiple games in one movie: [2636] NES Super Mario Bros., 2, The Lost Levels & 3 by agwawaf in 08:49.78 Alternately [871] NES Mega Man 3, 4, 5 & 6 by Baxter & AngerFist in 39:06.92 With what little we have on multi-TASes.

2 Things: 1.
hard version 1.8
Can you explain the differences between 1.9 and 1.8, specifically around this. 2. Is it more known/interesting than [2381] SNES Metroid Super ZeroMission "101%" by Hoandjzj in 1:19:30.64? (Yes, I know we have several Mario Hacks, but the question still stands.)

Depends on the TASer Dimon. Some work harder than others... this TASer stops at the 16th Mansion... Regardless, here's the userfile, does more than previous, and performs much better. Link to video

We take a shortcut to "COMPETE IN ONE EVENT", because the other events are slower.
And now we take a quick look at Bishi Bashi. Bishi Bashi your thoughts on this? [2852] PSX Bishi Bashi Special 3: Step Champ "Track & Field, best performance" by Spikestuff in 02:41.27 Ah, 4 events. Okay... what about you Track & Field the 5th version? [970] NES Track & Field "max score, playaround" by Phil in 12:55.43 A lot of events, ah yes I see... No Vote, would like to see all the events covered.

Heads up, this is Mappy not Mappy Land, if you want to discuss Mappy Land, discuss it here. (Or any time Mappy Land has been mentioned.) Now, just like every other NES port of any Arcade game, this would be completing before the loops. How long is the first loop? Good Question. Moving on. (Not the amount displayed on speedrun (It's 18)) Regardless, here's what the first Mansion: Video to Version 1 User movie #28275147911146151 Edit: And this is the reason why I'm bad at video games. :V Video to Version 2 User movie #28296354895432625 Edit 2: :V Link to video User movie #28296516545804797

Let me rewrite a word. Publisher. We have patience to make this work. We can take our time and make this work for the certain parts. I already did a test, which went for a longer period of time. Guess what, it worked. It didn't mater to me a Publisher/Encoder to take my time for creating a temporary solution. You've rushed, which is hurting the submission due to already losing a vote. jlun, I did a small section in my test for not giving anyone seizures. I would properly work on a temp encode followed by a publication. But I'm out of commission for the month. Sorry. I hope someone else with more patience would actually work on creating a better temp rather than a halfassed one which doesn't even care about the issue.

TAS input ends at frame 17848 (04:56.98) HappyLee ends his input when Mario hits the Axe on frame 17868 (04:57.31). Also, the TAS is roughly a second faster if switched to their timing.

It was entertaining for a while, then, seizures. I checked earlier versions of Hawk, and they still had the issue. What the publisher can do, is drop that entire part to 30fps to solve the issue.

Hi there page 9 of the NES forums. User movie #28227409803128177 Ignoring the elephant in the room which is Namco vs Tengen (I used Namco). Apparently for the first maze, I'm slower than hero by 8 frames, the reason for this to me is unknown. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4OI-iEWOzE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-2wiZor0N4

I'll point something out before it was changed. Lars originally had the submission say Speed/Entertainment Tradeoffs which is why some of the comments talked about that.
