This post about games that I'm willing to let someone TAS the following games listed here might get frequently edited to update info for existing games or/and add new ones. Yoshi vs. Windows Fan game. Control Yoshi through various PC-themed levels in a quest to stop Bill Gates from ruling the world. 15 levels, 2 boss fights. Video preview of this game here. This fan game has a SRC leaderboards here. Yoshi vs. Windows: Platinum Edition Fan game. A remake of an older and lesser version of "Yoshi vs Windows", which now features more levels (3 additional levels) and improved graphics and gameplay. Video preview of this game here. Wario vs. Microsoft Windows Fan game. Features 8 levels, 4 boss fights, Lazy and "Classic" modes. Speedrunners usually go for easiest difficulty mode (Lazy), video preview shows that I speedrunned the game on "Classic" mode to showcase the quality of how bypassable that is here. Super Mario Bros. Super Quest Probably one of the worst Super Mario fan games ever made, it's so bad that it doesn't have a proper ending screen (after completing a bonus level) to say that this is the end of a demo version, so, thankfully that this is a demo version. Features 2 playable characters, 2 levels and a bonus level. Video preview of this game here. Mario Toad Hunt (Demo) Fan game. One day, Mario ran out of mushrooms, so he went to eat the Toads instead. Eat all the Toads in each level to help him! Features 2 levels. Video preview of this game here. This game is technically TASable with Hourglass (no mouse input required), if not for a game loading window that potentially prevents it from being TASed. Looks like it's made in GameMaker. Wario Land 5 (Demo) Fan game. Features a tutorial level, 2 levels and a boss fight. Video preview of this game here. This game is technically TASable with Hourglass (no mouse input required), if not only for a game loading window that potentially prevents it from being TASed, but the game also changes resolution on-the-fly in between levels/screens, I've seen a publication movie of a completely different game that uses a nightmare combination of an emulator+Hourglass, which can potentially look incorrect in the encode if it changes display resolution from showing an operating system to a game. Looks like this fan game is made in GameMaker. Desert Dares! A Super Mario fan game, featuring a series of 5 (desert-themed) challenging levels, completing each level unlocks access for a more difficult version of the one. 10 levels in total. Video preview of this game (at around 7:42 - 10:18) here. Super Mario Sketch Fan game. Features original artwork graphics, 8 levels. Video preview of this game here. This game is technically TASable with Hourglass (no mouse input required). Super Mario: Peach Is Missing Fan game. Features original artwork graphics with colors, 9 levels. Video preview of this game here. This game is technically TASable with Hourglass (no mouse input required). Hotel Mario SNES Edition A fan game (not a romhack) based on a CD-i game. 8 levels. Video preview of this game here. This game is technically TASable with Hourglass (no mouse input required), if not for a game loading window that potentialy prevents it from being TASed. Looks like it's made in GameMaker. Yoshi Gone MFGG One of the oldest existing Mario fan games ever made. A Yoshi game featuring appearances of various Mario Fan Games Galaxy forum members and some of their custom sprites. Unstable game (made with The Games Factory), featuring 3 stages and 6 boss fights. Thankfully that this is a demo version. Video preview of this game here. This game is technically TASable with Hourglass (no mouse input required). The mario land A Super Mario fan game, with 4 short levels included. Video preview of this game here. Nintendo vs. Everyone Else Fan game. This is not like a Super Smash Bros., but it features 10 playable characters (split into 3 categories) and your chosen character has to go through 8 lands, each has it's own genre. Video preview of this game here. Normal Super Mario Bros. trilogy? Fan games. 3rd game features collectibles if you wanted to go for 100%. These 3 fan games has it's own SRC leaderboards. There is a submission for the first game, but got rejected for apparently not only a technically-not-an-emulator issue for not properly encoding an audio, but also for a bad game choice back then, along with input optimization. Super Mario 64: Really Good Edition Another fan game with memes. 2D, single course, 7 stars to collect. Video preview of this game here. This game has a SRC leaderboards here. This game is technically TASable with Hourglass (no mouse input required). Mario Floating Isles One of the early attempts at making own 3D Super Mario fan game. Features 9 levels. Video preview of this game (at around 34:42 - 42:21) here. This is the game that doesn't work for me on my old ASUS Windows 7 laptop (not even with compatibility mode settings), it runs the game in the background, doesn't do anything, doesn't show up, and it always goes at like 50% or 30% CPU resource usage or something. Mario in Kirby Land A fan game about Mario platforming through levels from Kirby's Adventure. Video preview of this game (at around 18:55 - 22:05) here. Super Mario's Moonwalker A crossover fan game with Michael Jackson's Moonwalker. This game has difficulty modes, the higher difficulty level - more difficult and more content in the levels. Features Dance-Dance-Revolution-like minigame (only appears on certain difficulty modes). Video preview of this game (at around 25:40 - 29:52) here. Mario Remix: Boss Edition A crossover-themed Super Mario fan game, this time features various boss fights that Mario can fight against from other video games (not just from Super Mario series). 35 bosses in total to fight. Video preview of this game (at around 31:01 - 38:30) here. Infinite Mario Bros A Super Mario fan game, features randomly generated world maps and levels. Despite the title name of the game, it follows the same rule of Worlds 1 to 8 and it has an ending screen after completing a castle level in World 8. This game was made by Markus "Notch" Persson, he's later known for creating Minecraft and became the best selling video game ever made (as of writing this). I've recently seen a published movie of a game made in RPG Maker, so how about other games that are made with the same engine such as: Super Mario PC Challenge 6 A Super Mario fan game achieved with RPG Maker game engine that tries to behave like a platformer game. Video preview of this game (at around 25:07 - 28:17) here. Super Mario PC Challenge 7 7th game in this fan game series with gameplay improvements, but plays roughly the same. Video preview of this game (at around 27:35 - 32:20) here. Super Mario PC Fun 2 Another fan game made by the same developer who made Super Mario PC Challenge series. I never played this one, which is apparently a separate from PC Challenge series, it's a collection of mini-games containing not only platforming, but also racing, sports and more. Of course it's also made in RPG Maker. Video preview of this game (at around 32:48 - 35:43) here. I've seen some published movies of Action 52 recently and I'm thinking "why not also TAS PC games that's bundled in a single physical CD that was actually available to purchase in stores?", here are the lists: Kyle and Tyler's Reindeer Mazes I've seen some published TAS movies of maze games, why not this one? A Christmas-themed maze game included within a Cosmi Software's 300 Arcade Games CD bundle. Randomized maze generation. It has a programing flaw that the developer(s) had to implement a warning text during gameplay in an attempt to make players obey the rules and go for the intended way of playing it instead of fixing the root cause of the problem that hitting two keys at the same time (going diagonally goes 2 moved spaces at the same time for 1 frame, pushes back only 1 movement space for colliding a wall). Video preview of this game (at around 1:12:19 - 1:13:56) here. Death Assult Yes, that's how this game is called (no letter A in between S and U). A platformer and shooter game included within a Cosmi Software's 300 Arcade Games CD bundle. Features enemies from Mega Man series such as Flash Man. Video preview of this game (at around 1:20:32 - 1:23:27) here. Fire Guy A game with original artwork graphics, but not for music and sound effects. Included within a Cosmi Software's 300 Arcade Games CD bundle. Video preview of this game (at around 1:52:57 - 1:56:12) here. Penut Hunt Another game with that name (not Peanut Hunt). I've seen the fastest TAS movie publication of a fastest Pac-Man clone game, how about the worst one: A fake Pac-Man clone about a hungry elephant hunting for penuts and avoiding taking too much damage from moving obstacles in 3 different levels. Included within a Cosmi Software's 300 Arcade Games CD bundle. Video preview of this entire game (at around 40:20 - 42:48) here. This game is technically TASable with Hourglass (assuming no mouse input required). Rush Hour Traffic Fake Frogger game about Mark Patterson, he must cross many busy streets in New York and avoid cars & other moving obstacles to get back home after realization that his car is not here in a parking lot. Included within a Cosmi Software's 300 Arcade Games CD bundle. Video preview of this game (at around 1:19:48 - 1:21:11) here. Buggie: Above the Law This tough game features MIDIfied known (copyrighted) songs, 9 levels to traverse America up to Las Vegas (according to a map screen), 3 different endings. Included within a Cosmi Software's 300 Arcade Games CD bundle. Video preview of this game (at around 45:16 - 51:37) here. Bummer! In this game, you'll get to blow up toasters, televisions and other harmful appliances. 5 levels in total. Included within a Cosmi Software's 300 Arcade Games CD bundle. Video preview of this game (at around 53:13 - 54:29, description from the installer app from this CD at 52:11) here. I would like to try to complete one of these games bundled from the CD (just to check it out), but the main installer launcher app itself and individual installers for each game (such as Penut Hunt) is too old and doesn't work on my old ASUS Windows 7 laptop (not even with compatibility mode settings down to Windows 95), only very few games works on my laptop PC (such as Buggie: Above the Law). This is why it's done via Windows XP virtual machine in his livestream videos.
