Neat. Nice way of celebrating the game's 30th anniversary. Off topic here, but I'm hyped for the new game next year. I'll watch this later, but it is indeed a nice surprise!
OK what the fuck. Allright, pal, I know that he is a rookie here but you gotta give the guy credit for trying to do a Wii TAS (though I do realize that this is still suboptimal and it requires more time and effort, and actually using the TAS tricks for the entire thing), and that he is willing to improve despite still not getting the hang of it yet, but come on... NOBODY can do a perfect TAS when you're very new to this, and certainly not one from a more modern platform. Also, went a bit harsh there in my opinion.
Regarding the movie itself, yes. This is still rough in some places, though you're improving, that's a good start. Also to note, Mario games are expected to have very high levels of optimization when making a TAS, so it's probably not the best place to start, but it's entirely possible to learn how to TAS Mario games properly, it just requires a ton of practice.
Actually, I would suggest you that next time you should make a thread about the hack, put your progress there, take your time optimizing everything you can, with of course deep knowledge about the strats used in the published run made by Soig, look for feedback and try out the suggestions from users, try actually finding new tricks that could save time, among many different things. There's tutorials for howto TAS on this site, by the way, you might wanna look for those.
Overall, good 2nd attempt, but not enough to meet our quality standards, I'm sorry if I'm being a bit harsh, but I want you to understand what this site wants for runs.
So, please, for the last time, don't rush through such runs like this. Don't submit them if you know they could be much better, like this one. Thanks for understanding.

Second stage is now 15 seconds faster. Huge improvement here.
I guess I'll continue the project by myself since I have no word from Samsa's part.
Already found a way to fall through platforms in stage 3... Yeah. No Yong Yong game is safe from the "falling through platforms trope", isn't it?
Link 4 the hack.
Doesn't clarify as to what does special or anything, I'm not familiar with it either, I just know that it's complete and it looks nice.
Voting no on the merits of the hack itself, which I feel doesn't meet the quality standards that TASVideos has set for hacks.
Oh, ok, I see. I'm really curious as to what other hacks of this game are out there. It's not like it's considered the best or anything. And besides, the movie was entertaining enough for what it was, after all, you don't see a Mario hack like this very often, you know, a Wii game hack of all things.
However as for the movie's technical quality itself, I'm very icky about things. I'll begin by asking: Did you used the optimization tricks used in the published run of the original game? How long it took you to do such a long run? And, does this beat all existing RTA records of this hack?
Sorry for asking all these questions, but I'm just a bit curious. No pressure in responding.
I'm going to vote Meh, I was entertained for a bit, but I'm not a big fan of long movies, specially if it is a 2D Mario game, no offense for someone new to the community. :-)
The Vectrex has a libretro core called vecx, which works in RetroArch, but not BizHawk.
Bit of a shame, although I don't know how many games are even publishable for the site.
BizHawk has very early Intellivision emulation, but it's very incomplete and doesn't work as far as I'm aware. You should wait a while until one of the devs gets motivated enough to work on it.
