Some information about the game can be found here After finishing off my Frogger TAS, I've considered TASing this game a lot. There's just a few things I want to make sure of. I've played this game before, but over a long period. If anyone else has played this before, how long would an any% TAS run be estimated at? It seemed like a long game when I played it, but that was a while ago and the levels can be completed quicker in a TAS definitely.

Have you at least tried whether this game can be reliably played in an emulator? That's always a good thing to know.
All syllogisms have three parts, therefore this is not a syllogism.

Yes, every thing seems to be working fine. The first time you load the ISO that I use, though, it's defaulted to using a custom projection hack (I have no clue why) which glitches the main menu. Disabling it fixes that and everything works fine.

But does the dtm you record syncs while playing back? There are many games that have several desync problems while playing back a dtm...

Made a 5 minute long .dtm and played it back fine. Looks like this game is TAS-able then :P

lol, I remember playing this game. Really fun! (and annoying at times...) It would be interesting to see a TAS of this game, since you can control 4 characters at a time. I say go for it!

I've talked with Got4n and we've decided we'll both work on an any% run of Shrek 2. I don't even remember if there would technically be a 100% run, but whatever. We won't pick this up until Got4n finishes a Rayman TAS and a NSMB Wii TAS though.

Technically (trying to remember game) It's all levels as you cannot skip one so really there is no such thing as any% or 100% just a blank canvas.

Really cool to finally see a full TAS of this game after so many years. Thank you for making it! What do you mean by "dtm problems", though? You mean it desyncs? Also I want to point out that we had a forum thread for this game already: https://tasvideos.org/Forum/Topics/14283

When I tried to paste improvements onto another dtm, it wouldn't playback properly. And it also desyncs but that was after the original problems so I didn't worry much about them. I missed that forum thread when checking if I should make this one, sorry about that. Should I post it over there as well?

Hmm... it's unfortunate you had those issues. I'm still thankful that you took your time and effort into your TAS regardless despite this being unable to be submitted. Also the threads are merged now, so don't worry about it.

I started this without the intention of submitting it here so it doesn't bother me too much

Nice, good job on the run! I didn't know it was this broken. The game must be tedious to optimize, with all those attack cancels and possibilities where to move and with whom.

Thank you. The attack cancelling was definitely very tedious and I was very glad when I got to the final few levels where it isn't applicable. The CPUs moving in the wrong direction at times was also painful but most of the time you can just let them be.
