This is odd to me. That run is very lazy and arbitary in comparision to the 101% run, which took me an endless amount of effort in comparision. Glad you liked the walkathon, though =D. I personally have no opinion on the best TAS of the decade, I don't like to rate movies.

That’s definitely one way I’ve thought about it. It would be kinda strange to have a movie win “tas of the decade” and no other awards imo. If Nach can think of a way to set up such an award I’d be in favor of it.

I would see it as being more open-ended than just taking the award winners of every year, as some TASes might have aged better than others. Perhaps an older movie that didn't impress quite as much at the time could be rated higher today. I've already seen a few movies like that mentioned in this topic.

Sm64 120 stars, YotD 117%, and Rockman 2 are my favourites out of these ^^ I'd also like to add [2741] Genesis Sonic 3 & Knuckles by Aglar & marzojr in 26:53.06 because I used to watch it and its predecessor movie all the time. I actually find the lack of Sonic in this thread quite concerning!

Agreed. Megaman 1 is an amazing TAS. Another good candidate is 1-key in SM64

The egg shots aren't actually trade-offs - it's optimal to bounce eggs around until they're red to collect stars from them. The only speed/entertainment tradeoff I know of from that movie is avoiding 1/1 running, because it was deemed to look notably worse in proportion to the small speed gain.

Easy the most amazing TAS of this decade for me. Always come to mind when I think about TAS in general, and I used it as example when trying to show friends what a TAS is.
