Goal choice
Battle Kid features a password system and has bonus levels that can be accessed from it. This movie aims to complete the bonus level associated with the password PETUNIAX. It is in fact the only one in Version 1.0 of the game other than the boss rush level, and Version 2.x of the game features a slightly altered version of this level accessible with the password GOLDENFORT, as a side note.
Version choice and THE GLITCH
In version 1.0, there is a glitch so that pausing the game when a text box is about to be displayed makes you invincible for the rest of the game,
unless you pause the game again after reaching death condition in a room. This glitch makes the player invulnerable to EVERYTHING.
Conveniently, there is a saving point right before the boss fight that makes it possible to activate the glitch.
The use of this glitch during the boss fight is actually the only change compared to
Aglar's movie from 2011. This movie ends up being 21 frames shorter thanks to that.

slamo: Nice run, the optimization looks pretty tight. We allow bonus content through passwords if it's otherwise inaccessible, and this is its own separate level, so it can have its own branch. Accepting.
I'm unsure on the branch name: "PETUNIAX" is the password, but the level is called "CHALLENGE LEVEL" in the post-credits password screen. Not sure which one is more appropriate, I'll leave it up to the publisher.
