Why would anyone like the result?: Some peoples wanted to see a full version of my SMB3 full amazing run few years ago.
Aim: Show funny things and bugs

- Mario carries more than one thing
- Mario carries things on Yoshi

- Diffents way to be killed in the wall
- Pass through diagonal floors and pipes
- Get stock at unexpected places
- Get a score of 9999990 in no time (First level in the forest)
- Activated blue box live more longer (Second level in the forest)
- Bonus level badly work (Third level in the forest)
- Springs make mario to go up without bouncing (Level after the ghost house in chocolate island)
- False dead (Second level after the ghost house in chocolate island)
- The switch work once again (Last level before Castle 6)
- Best of all: an unexpected way to fly with Yoshi

Well, just remember that the other SMW/SDW TAS's show off most of these tricks already... so it doesn't seem necessary to publish this movie solely for its demonstration of glitches. Unless you're saying that publishing this movie with a description of "this movie aims to show off as many glitches as possible" will attract more viewers?
Edit: About the run itself... I certainly think that it would have been amazing to see things like this a year or two ago (e.g. the shelljump+walljumps or multiple walljumps), but after all the work that has been done on SMW, this run just feels like an unoptimized playaround. I'm giving it a "meh" because the glitches were entertaining, but the whole movie lacks the professionalism of the current SMW runs.
I do realize that "optimizing" this kind of run would make it hard to see a lot of tricks. So, my overall opinion is that this movie is not really suited for publication on the site.
Edit 2: By the way, I'm rather amazed at your ability to find/perform glitches... It's really great to see that things like 3 items at once, multiple walljumps up the same wall, etc. are possible.
All I'll say is if that dumb RCR TAS made it to publishing, this should too.

Same generic concept - showing off instead of going for pure speed - so not publishing this shows favoritism and, in general, a double standard for what gets published and what doesn't.
So basically you're trying to provoke a "choose A: slippery slope B: accusations of favoritism" argument. Maybe I'll choose C: shut up, and let the judges to their job.
I find Genisto's SMB3 run more entertaining than this one.
For this SMW run, like many other has already commented, most of the tricks/glitches presented in this run are known and shown in various SMW & SDW runs already. It's not as entertaining to watch as the recent SMW runs.
This run will stand out as a "glitches-showing tool assisted run", but it won't fit in any of the existing SMW categories.
I am voting meh.
I voted yes because I was entertained almost the entire time. I also like the long route through bowser's castle, and the things we don't see in other runs.
It should probably be rejected anyway, if a more complete/efficient run can be done. (With MOAR dancing.)
I find it pretty entertaining, I like to watch SMW run, and this one was different from the ones that are published, I really enjoyed the run. More than the SMB3 that I find a little long and without a lot of neat trick that keeps the game fast pace.

Yes vote. Even though the SDW-120 one had shown a lot of these already, I thought this was gave a very charming and accessible presentation. I think it's definitely possible in principle to obsolete (which is good): specifically, somebody could drop the "Forest of Illusion 3" bonus game's lag, and add some of the fish-creation tricks that everybody loves. :)
I don't know what it is about this run, but it caught my imagination in a way that felt a lot like the first TAS I watched.
This run is great. It's a bit dull at the points where Genisto isn't doing anything interesting and obviously unoptimized in some places where optimization could've helped in avoiding the uninteresting parts, but the hilariousness of the glitches more than makes up for its faults. I've seen most of these glitches before, but not in the manner they're displayed here.
I'd vote yes for publishing as a concept demo, but apparently I'm not privileged enough to do so.
I've done the parts until the Ghost House in my v2. I added some new glitchs: one in the fence and the bug with the Pswitch and the fish. I beat the boss of the first castle about 5 frames faster than Fabian & JXQ's version (ignoring the score lag of 20 frames at the end). What do you think of this?

Personally I think that was a lot better. Because the run is so long, you still get to show all the glitches without being excessively slow. Thumbs up from me.
Genisto, would it be possible to include the coin bridge glitch involving hitting a coin block underneath the coin bridge, causing a solid block to form?
Yeah, I guess it falls under that category. I just had this preconceived notion that it was speed which was being sought after in the long run. If you put it that way, I'd have no arguments against it :)
By the way, I'd like to add that I almost fell out of my chair laughing from the spring trick. That was ace.

Otherwise, I was honestly entertained by this run. The SMB3 run was boring with all the backwards stuff... but not bad.. but this has so much more entertainment going on.

Fantastic glitch! Work on it, don't stop, you have much TASing talent! And congratz for this submission, amazing consistent entertainment for a 52 minutes TAS, but really much more improvable. Your v2 TAS proof it. You need also see and study the actually SMW TASes.
Absolutely loved this one. I wish I had the ability to orchestrate something this cool.
I thought the trick of flattening the spring was very very funny. I was laughing a long time about that.
I liked how you collected too many extra lives in the chocolate island level with the silver P-switch
I thought that showing Mario try and do things such as grab a fire flower when it was stuck in a block, or use a key when it was stuck in Yoshi's head was very funny.

Well, it has some pretty awesome glitches, but other than those parts it just looked like a normal person playing.
It just feels disconnected, if these glitches were used in a Speedrun, then I would vote yes, but as it stands the most I can give is a "Meh" vote.
Entertaining? Yes

I liked this better than your SMB3 glitch-run, and I do believe that both deserve to be archived somewhere, whether on the site, in the forums, in your own web space, or on some stainless-steel punch-cards to be used in a 50,000 year time capsule. Nice non-speedrun fun.

Bounce repeatedly off Wigglers, as you would when bouncing off enemies for extra lives. Instead of capping your bonuses at 1UPs, you'll get 2UPs, 3UPs, 5UPs, and then everything just hits the fan, as you get glitched symbols as bonuses that earn you extra coins. It is quite easily doable on a console once you get the hang of it - in fact, I did it when I was five or six years old; the information for it was in some strategy book I found at the library. If five (or six) year old me can do it, so can...how old are you? Well, you can do it too, however old you are. Also, you can still bounce off the Koopas and keep your bonuses going, and make things easier too.
As for the run itself, I would vote Meh if I could vote. Which I can't. Because I don't post enough. Because I'm not here often. There were amusing parts, but I found myself fast forwarding through a lot of gameplay. If you could streamline it a bit, and work out some of the rough edges, I'm sure it'll be very good.
