Mininova approved our account today. I'm going to try to do some testing with it tomorrow. I'm going to pick a approved sub to encode and see how it goes from there.

not especially I'll have more on Monday. Main things: Its a very simple sort of account, you can't set subusers or anything like that and there aren't really any special features outside of you are allowed to upload to the file to mininova and then it spits out the torrent. The speed on it is not bad I get 400-500k on a good time and 150-200 when they seem busy. I think it should work good. I need to do a little more testing as soon as I have time to finish an encode for the site.

Whatever happened with this? Looks like the only torrents currently on mininova are the Jewel Master and Alien Soldier movies. But they're not the same as the torrents tracked by tasvideos. http://www.mininova.org/user/TASvideos Isn't it possible to host a torrent from multiple trackers at once?

The reason this is failing is due to the site code. It just won't accept the mininova tracker. It will take some reworking of code that nobody yet understands. I intend to get this done though.

OpenDNS is blocking mininova.org. I'll have to put it in my whitelist to get into it. Seems that site is being blocked due to the amount of warez/porn being downloaded from there.

There has been a general problem with a Comcast user, especially trying to download the Pit Fighter and the Strider TASes (47 hashfails, to be exact). Is it possible to ban some of these Comcast users from the tracker for sending bad data to the swarm?

Well, it is a tracker that tracks warez. As such this isn't a problem with OpenDNS. The problem is you have warez blocked from within the OpenDNS settings. I thought this was common knowledge..
