I didn't knew tasvideos already existed 1970. Reloading the site didn't help.

1970-01-01 is the "zero date" on Unix/Linux; looks like some post managed to lose its date data.

Yeah, it happens sometimes when the latest post is deleted.

Well it did. Was pretty archaic. To submit a run, you had to mail it. And the motto was "TASVideos: Afros are cool."

Sometimes when i load the forum i receive a message saying i got banned, so i can only access the main page of the site. I have to restart my moden/router to solve the issue.

Sounds like forum IP banning. Yeah, quite inaccurate.

I get the following error when trying to upload an fm2-wip to my userfiles: Errors found in upload: <<< The filename lacks an extension >>> The file does have an .fm2-extension, so I don't know where the problem lies... I tried uploading an fm2 a few days ago as well, and got the same error. Here is the fm2 file: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/771026613/kid_icarus_randil_1-1_wip.fm2

Was the extension ".fm2" or ".fm2-wip"? It's unclear from your post. The latter is probably not recognized.

"Filename lacks an extension" is given when filename has no recognizable extension. The error if extension is unknown is different ("Unknown movie type"). Actually, looking at site source code, weird extensions (including ones with a dash) would cause "lacks an extension" instead of "unknown movie type" error.

Aah, sorry for the confusion, the file extension is .fm2. There is no .fm2-wip in the filename, the filename is kid_icarus_randil_1-1_wip.fm2 Perhaps the "-"-character is the culprit?

The only place '-' would cause problems is in the actual extension. The filename it uses is: 1) The filename specified on form overrides all others. 2) If uploaded file is not a .zip, then the filename of the uploaded file. 3) If uploaded file is a .zip, then name of file inside it. Just did some tests: 1) Uploading the file given with no explicit filename (the local filename is as is Microstorage sets it) goes through. 2) Uploading the file with explicit filename given goes through. 3) ... But, if I "accidentally" put a space after the filename, it does NOT go through, instead it gives complaint about lacking an extension.

Please consider flipping the order of "Status" and "By" on the front page: I read from left to right, so it becomes: "Judging underway by Flip." It is sometimes confusing.

Are you sure there isn't a trailing space in the filename. It would break things (I think I fixed that, but the fix isn't deployed yet).

Also, the filename field is optional (if you don't fill it, it takes the filename you are uploading).

Works for me (and I wrote most of the server-side code behind user movies)...

The Pokemon Blue "Gotta Catch 'Em All!" image has a spoiler image instead of the non-spoiler image as default. The mouse over effect works correctly as does the hover text.

Er....it seems I was a bit wrong. It actually leads to: http://tasvideos.org/forum/runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Discontinued_rare_items But either way, is the url tag supposed to link to another part of the forum if http://, https://,www.,etc is missing?

The bbcode is parsing it like a relative link, just like relative links in regular html.
<Zurreco> if so called professional players cant adapt to every playing field, theyre obviously not that great
