In the past, Discord has been used as a convenient file hoster. The links to any file uploaded could be accessed from anywhere. However, as of time of writing this (2023-11-05), Discord plans to change their links to be temporary by the end of the year 2023.
This is a problem for us because some of our pages use these links, and they will expire. They still work currently, so we have the option of recovering the files.
