Level 17 change: implemented the boss skip from my "no warp glitch" 2016 TAS, killing the prince while finishing the stage, so no reset this time.
Levels 18 and 19 remains corrupted while Level 20 plays normally.

My first SNES movie using a bot. Used training mode to calibrate the bot in preparation for the actual game's run. Found out Challenger's movie is already perfect. Got a 10 frame gain, just because SNES9X emulates less lag frames. Clap Clap Challenger, you win this round.

Comparison to previous movie:
  • removed lag frames by turning left as soon as possible. The lag is caused primarily by Y which's function is executed after level shown. This is also the reason Y ruining the warping glitch, because after game end the "time left" function further delays the glitch, doing other visual corruptions (longer loading, multiple loading level before giving up and restarting etc).
  • This movie does what mintlody's TAS and still have 0 corruption
The difference between this and the other movie is just the action we use before stage transition.

  • improves few frames between start and end of 2nd game end by minimalizing lag frames
  • inevitable misery at 3rd game end. Currently it's the "no level corruption" one. I need to replicate (if possible on BSNES with currentdefault setups) the "instant level restart" what mintlody has with the sideeffect of level 41.

Since I warped to level 8 with less glitched graphics, this is still possible to follow where are going between rooms.
But this stage suffers with a lag nearly every room. I improved one room, changed a strategy in the room after the exit door, and accidentally forgot 6 frames to improve.
I finished this stage, but...starting the next level, the "X minutes left" pops up all the time. How annoying. Probably I need to verify more or probably risking with a even more glitched room 8 (which can't see almost nothing).~
EDIT: It seems that the message pop up starts somewhere during that warp setup. So, probably stage 8 has also suffered.

- As soon as you enter the 3rd room (because you need to "see" a "enemy"), exit the game, enter again, and then pull off glitch in the 1st room.
- Now warped to level 8, but you can't see almost nothing, and the kill cheat now works.

BSNES + USA, should work on Europe too. Won't work on japanese because the glitch is different (after pulling off the glitch, you start the level with glitched state. I only warped to the intro cutscene).
  • leave 1st room
  • fall down in 2nd room too
  • go right to 3rd room and die to soldier
  • you can use the menu to avoid waiting for "press button to continue"
  • pull off glitch in the 1st room
  • if everything was OK, you are warped to level 8. this movie warps to level 0 for whatever reason for a brief moment.
