Well guys, the last time I've posted a WIP of this game was when I completed the entire third round. However I created a first draft of the fourth round and I actually intended to share the new progress once reaching a very good result.
I was working on this game back from 2019 when my laptop suffered a serious problem that I almost lost my project! I didn't lose my most recent files but I lost most of my previous WIPs from the previous stages.
Long time ago, Viewer made a WIP reaching the end of the fourth round but the movie file suffers a desync during the second boss :\
I returned to the project a year later, just to lose my motivation after optimizing 4-1 to the fullest potential (not present in this movie file) and having some hurdle with the next stage. I'm not sure if I'll return to this game someday - 5 years have passed while I focused working on other games since then.

Warning: open the movie using the BizHawk 2.4 version because the movie won't open on the most recent versions of the emulator due to core updates.
Actually this run also works on pre-2.4 versions of the emulator, but the second act of the third zone is prone to desync because bubble RNG.
The project was started some years ago by The8bitbeast and EZGames69, months later I helped them making progress until the fourth zone, but I ended putting the game on hold due to other projects back from November 2021.
Over 40 seconds faster than the published run thanks to new tricks, lag reduction and better optimization.
I'll revive the project after finishing two runs I've been working for a while (secret) ;)

This is another project I've started some years ago.
Several changes were done after the last WIP posted here, including two big ones: a completely new strategy for 2-4 skip, and skipping most of 1-3 using bombs.
The game is complete, but optimizing the RNG to the fullest potential requires lots of dedication.

Level 17 change: implemented the boss skip from my "no warp glitch" 2016 TAS, killing the prince while finishing the stage, so no reset this time.
Levels 18 and 19 remains corrupted while Level 20 plays normally.

Nearly 5 years have passed since the last time I've worked on a TAS of this game.
This time I'm working on a improvement for "no demo glitch" TAS (a.k.a that 2016 run) with better gameplay optimization, more lag reduction, some new speed tricks, a new strategy for the first part of the third level, and some improvements from Droodbot's cancelled submission, such as weather manipulation, sprite glitch and a new zip (a.k.a new shortcut) for the third level.
Currently 2042 frames (34 seconds) ahead, and the new TAS stops after finishing the third level.
