Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is an action platforming game in the Castlevania franchise and the codifier for the "Metroidvania" subgenre of platforming games. It was initially developed for the Sony PlayStation and was later ported to the Sega Saturn with a few console exclusive bonuses, such as a playable Maria Renard. Taking place four years after Rondo of Blood, Richter Belmont has suddenly went missing, and Dracula's castle has reappeared. Alucard, son of Dracula, takes it upon himself to investigate and take down whoever has caused it to reappear.
In this run, arukAdo decides to go for a pacifist run by avoiding enemies using whatever means possible, including with glitches, and killing only when there is no other option. To do this, a loading glitch was utilized using Maria to transfer her stats, relics, and triggered story flags to Alucard, allowing him speed through the game and only having to hurt Dracula.
