I recently submitted my first movie (NES Legacy of the Wizard) to this site and was pleased to see it published. I have a new movie of the same game, but have a few questions about accounts before I submit. 1. I show up on the players list, but am still listed as a 'lurker' when I post. Is there more to being listed as a 'player' (and being able to vote) than having a published movie? 2. My account name is 'tss' but my nickname is 'Lord Tom'...any way to get my posts to show my name as 'Lord Tom' without creating a new account? My only concern creating a new account is 'disowning' my first movie... Sorry for any cluelessness implied by the above, I couldn't find the answers elsewhere on the site. Thanks.

1) Yes; it is not automatical. It needs someone's attention to manually update the rank. However, due to the anticipated rank system overhaul that hasn't been done anymore. Regardless, having your rank changed does not affect your ability vote. It's just a text label. 2) An admistrator of the board can change account names without separating associated data. Send him a private message requesting the change.

Was there any news on it lately? It seems that the last time the thread was active was 4 months ago (not counting that last post). Are you still waiting for ideas?

I think that having a clear idea of what to do and actually doing it do not necessarily correlate. ;)

This is very true... but it does not mean that Bisqwit has a clear idea of what to do ;)

By posting more, after the first 10 or so posts, you're pretty much out of the Lurker rank. I can't be assed remembering the exact numbers at this time.

You need to have 4 posts to be a "newbie" instead of a "lurker"
