Submission Text Full Submission Page
As asked by the community, I submit 4 other Cases of the game.
Nothing changed on the game since my first submission (obviously) so you can read my comment at #6005: ViGadeomes's A2600 Private Eye "Case 5" in 14:53.28

Goals

  • BizHawk 2.3.0
  • In-Game Time instead of real time
  • Maximum score without losing time for entertainment

Routing

Route : Road 1, Bank's money, Road 1, Gun, Road 2, Gunstore, Le Fiend, Road 2, Police.
Total : 56 screens.

Thanks

Greg Degeneffe

Memory: Claiming for judging.
ViGadeomes: Cancelling due to a possible movie that can obsolete it.

Uh... here's a question. Why didn't you just hit reset or continue on from the previous input instead of making several submissions and branching it as "all cases"?

The proper question is, is any of this gameplay already contained in the Case 5 movie? Because it seems to cover all the cases.

Memory said on my previous submission that these Games set could be submitted on separate branches I thought it was the better option but if judge want me to do all 4 cases at once then I'll do it.

http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=472319#472319 When one vaultable branch contains gameplay of another vaultable branch, there's no point in having both. Precedent: #5854: ThunderAxe31's GBC Toki Tori in 42:20.21

Maps are different for 3 first cases but the 5th has a little bit of the 4rd case. Before submitting Case 5, I thought it could be better to submit case 5 and the case which has the best TAS time but I wasn't sure so I just submitted Case 5 to see what people want and What I can do...

"Then"? If their gameplay is unique compared to Case 5, they can still be published separately. Checking how different it is will need to be done for each of the 4 cases.

Sorry for the "then" (my english is not perfect). Ok, so I let them. Sorry for the extra-work of the judge in advance.

Can you combine all the cases into a single movie/submission? It would be preferred.
[16:36:31] <Mothrayas> I have to say this argument about robot drug usage is a lot more fun than whatever else we have been doing in the past two+ hours
[16:08:10] <BenLubar> a TAS is just the limit of a segmented speedrun as the segment length approaches zero

I think I can do it but I need your help : When can we consider a case as finished ? End of the music after the end of the case ? Do I let the Police screen for one frame ? ... Do I combine case 5 with others ?

Just to point out why we're suggesting this: http://tasvideos.org/MovieRules.html#GamesWithAdditionalLevelSetsOrGames "Playing a single episode or individual game to completion, or all episodes or games, is considered game completion." http://tasvideos.org/MovieRules.html#ObsoletingAPublishedMovie "Movies for all games or episodes inside a multi-game or multi-episode game can obsolete individual movies that only play a single game or episode within the game. This is assuming that the combined movie surpasses all the individual movies that it is trying to obsolete." The manual makes case 5 stand out as the only case that puts an end to the crimes this bad guy does, which is why I considered it full completion for this game, but since its gameplay is different from the other 4 cases, having all 5 in one movie is the best option.

Sorry because it's the second time I tried to ask it and I think you don't understand what I mean : When do I consider a case finished to press the reset button to prepare with the select button and begin the next case?

I wasn't answering that question, just clarified our reasons.
