This is a record that nobody ever played before. This game names FullMoon, made by MANA, the IPS can be download form here.
This is a very gorgeous mario hack, not so easy, I think.
There are 9 levels in this game, and 3 extra stages, the extra stages are very hard.
This is the movie completed on 1-9, I didn't get to the extra stages.
Hope you like this movie :)
And here are some snaps from MANA's website.

Even that I am Chinese,I still got your ideas, you think that the extra levels should be played. But as for me,as for a Chinese's point, those levels are for amusements only, but not for the formal speadrun movie,so I didn't played those levels. In the author-MANA's point, the normal and right way is completing at 1-9,you don't have to complete all these levels,it's not the same rule from the other games. Oh,no,I'm talking too much,Oh what a terrible English I'm speaking, gotta go.

No one knows that except the ones who can make the decision. In facts, it's all depends on the judges. However, HappyLee should be happy, or he's not HappyLee.
<klmz> it reminds me of that people used to keep quoting adelikat's IRC statements in the old good days <adelikat> no doubt <adelikat> klmz, they still do

somewhere over the 4+ years ive been watching tas from here, the consensus of what viewers want to see is the player take something really difficult and humiliate it in a visually pleasing fashion you could do this with those extra stages but didnt if you had, i probably wouldve gone meh to yes as is, i vote no edit: i just misclicked and voted yes... that was pro so one of those yes should be a no, except i feel like it wont matter the way the voting is heading

lol I don't get how you can 'misclick', cuz you still have to submit after before it actually counts.

This might be a dumb question, but is this hack well known? Would people be against not doing the bonus levels if he hadn't pointed them out in the submission text? Doesn't SMB2J have extra levels, and do all of the movies play through all of them (I really don't know, the only one that mentions it is the SNES one)?
I make a comic with no image files and you should read it. While there is a lower class, I am in it, and while there is a criminal element I am of it, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not free. -Eugene Debs

The problem with SMB2J's bonus levels is that it usually requires beating the game several times. Instead, the SNES version does the extra levels, and the FDS ones are all "uses warps".

Well that makes sense. So one question down, two to go:

I myself had not heard about this hack before. I also don't suspect this hack to have any warps, because they surely would have been shown in the run. Thus, this submission could be considered a low% run as it tries to complete the game/hack in the fastest way possible. On the other hand and as Xkeeper already pointed out, the SNES version of SMBJ2 also included the extra levels that came after the completing the "main game". So why not do the same? People who didn't like the run of the main part won't bother to see the extra levels; yet people did actually enjoy the main part may find this "encore" pleasurable to watch.

It's a nice hack, but nothing really stood out to me as "exceptional" in terms of the gameplay. It was, however, well done. Meh vote, only in good conscience.

OK, I want to see the extra levels too. As I pointed out, it was a dumb question -- a "what-if" that doesn't really pertain to the real situation. Either way, I enjoyed this video (that means I voted Yes!) The hack is really good compared to most I've seen, and there are definitely aspects of it not covered in the "real" game. I think a good chunk of the audience would like this movie on some level. Plus it's a new record!

I'd vote no if I could vote. The hack just isn't well known enough, like SDW and Air are, to be a TAS candidate. Don't take it personally.

Finally got around to patching and watching. The first few levels seem incredibly slow to me. Nothing going on that I haven't seen in a hack made by your average person. I got a lot more into it during 1-6 and 1-8. In the end, there was not too much else that stuck out to me as fun to watch. I vote Meh on the grounds that there are a couple fun levels with creative paths that you took, but still so many dull levels.
i see...

Voting no. I was hoping for a hack that provides unique, original gameplay styling (Like that Metroid Mario hack) but all I got is a sub-par hack with different graphics and somewhat-hard for the sake of hard levels. Sorry HappyLee, I'm going to have to make you UnhappyFromNoVotesLee. :(

I encoded this run many years ago, but it wasn't in 60 fps. Here's a 4K 60 fps encode. Link to video
