As far as buying mice and keyboards go, it's Logitech all the way for me. As far as headphones go, I adore my Koss Spark Plugs to death, but I've kinda also wanted a pair of muffs. Had a great Denon pair back in the day, but one of the muffs fell off.
I've heard of Koss but know next to nothing about their products. The problem with high-end headsets is that there's so many of them! I've always been a Logitech fan too, but I had many issues with several different G5s and didn't find the G9 to be that comfortable. I bought RAT 7 recently and I love it. I generally prefer mechanical keyboards, and this g15v1 I have is so damn big. I really like their Illuminated keyboard, but that's hardly a gaming-grade board (plus there's a bunch of issues with simultaneous keypresses on their keyboards).

Oh, I entered, picking the keyboard that had the arrow keys off to the left because I could use that if it's not made in a very stupid way. What I'd want the most is a good pair of earmuff headphones, but I wouldn't say no to a free new mouse either since the wheel on mine is acting up but not to the point where I can justify buying an entirely new mouse, even if the mice also looked pretty WTF. I selected the Cataclysm mouse, on account of amount of buttons + newer than the other WoW mouse. Not that I play WoW. I kinda refuse to tell people HAY CLICK MY LINK though, so it's not like I'll have any chance to win...
One entry is all it takes! I've had good luck with Microsoft Intellimouse(s). Those damn things last forever. As far as headphones go, I have a pair of Bose QC15s and I am interested to see how they stack up (since Bose is hardly the leading authority in audio quality) against the SteelSeries stuff. For some actual content, one major problem is that this type of high-end gear is NEVER on display at the major electronics retailers (best buy/fry's) near me, so I never have the chance to try out any of this stuff. So despite professional players using it, and endless positive reviews online, I can't ever justify buying something I've never used before

At least they're better than these keyboards! http://www.wonderfulinfo.com/amazing/keyboard/ With the exception of the roll-up keyboard. Those have their usefulness.

Oh wow, all of those keyboards look absolutely horrible.
I don't like the big enter key, but they're all (I think?) mechanical and great for gaming.. not something you'd want to sit down and type an essay on or something. :) Besides, it's free (and somewhat expensive) so you could always just resell it if you wanted to.

What is SteelSeries? What are you trying to sign us up for doing?
SteelSeries is a manufacturer of high-end computer/gaming peripherals (mice, keyboards, mousepads) that a lot of professional gaming teams use (due to sponsorships or personal preference) You can use a throw-away email address, and you don't have to "sign up" for anything. You don't even have to attach it to your facebook. I guess it takes some effort in order to get enough entries in the draw to actually win, but at the very least, these kinds of topics and threads that people make will draw attention to SteelSeries (obviously the point of any marketing event), who is a big supporter of eSports.

Hello everyone! Some of you may know me, some of you may not (most of you won't). Anyway! I just found out about this and thought I'd share it with some like-minded people (everyone from tasvideos has always been super-cool). It's fast and (obviously) free to sign up and you can get a bunch of free SteelSeries shit, which is just awesome. The giveaway link is http://steelseries.com/10. You get one entry for signing up, and 5 more for everyone you refer. If you want, you can use my link to signup, but I won't take it personally if you don't. http://steelseries.com/10?code=Uxx7VJIb I normally hate these types of things but SteelSeries produces such high-quality gear and I hope someone here wins! You can win almost every current SteelSeries.. product. I've made a list: Mice WoW: Cataclysm MMO Mouse Xai Ikari Laser Kinzu Ikari Optical Ikari Laser "Sudden Attack" edition WoW: MMO Mouse Keyboards 7G 6GV2 Shift Shift Cataclysm Shift Medal of Honor Merc Stealth Zboard Headphones 7H 5HV2 Siberia V2 white and black Siberia neckband Spectrum 7XB Spectrum 5XB Mousepads 9HD SS SP 5L QCK Heavy QCK+ QCK+ limited editions (choice of FNATIC, EG, SK, NATUS, TYLOO, Deathwing, Marine, or Barbarian) And then their glasses... but hey it's free (potentially) You have the option of putting it on your facebook (where they announce the winners) but you don't have to. good luck!

I have it and I love it. Too bad it won't hold a candle to CoD4 or Crysis though. Oh, and there's nothing accurate about the 2 activations only. 2 at once, yes, and when it came out, but if you uninstalled it you got that activation back. Plus, they changed it so you get 5 now. Still have to uninstall to get one of those 5 back, but there you go. There are plenty of other reasons (instability, widescreen issues) not to buy it though.. I know I didn't.

My folder with mostly HD TV shows and HD movies is about 122 GB (and growing as the days go by) right now. Edit: My ROM collection is about 900 ROMs, too. Mostly SNES.

well, hassle isn't spelled "hassile"
But missile can be pronounced like that (personally, I pronounce it that way specifically because it's ridiculous to actually say it that way). Miss-I'll. Hassle doesn't have that luxury. Hass-I'll? I don't think so.

I think it is possible, but none of the current any% runs take Speed Booster before Wrecked Ship. I'll test it now. EDIT: Test #1 — failed. In the best case, the missile hits the door, and I bump into it (as shown in the demo), in the worst, the door doesn't even have a chance to load before the missile reaches it, so it either vanishes or explodes inside it.

But it looks like I am going to have to get the silver scale to get to the Lake from Zoras Domain. That is not what I wanted to do but oh well :( If someon can find a glitch to get to the exit in the water, please find asap because this is crucial.
You could just skip that part for now and hex-edit it in later. I'm sure it will work!

Nevermind, it was HG (or one of his friends in disguise), and I posted this (and subsequently forgot about it) before I realized who it actually was. Apologies to Nach.

Damn 37 speed is fast. ;) It's not quite the same as a walkathon though because pressing y+forward in the air is still a form of running, just not on the ground. Finished YI3 and the beginning of YI4: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3337/thegreginator%20SMW%20Walkathon%20YI3.smv

YI3 is done. This level had a few close calls with the moving yellow blocks. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3323/thegreginator%20walkathon%20yi3.smv Does anyone actually want to see this completed? Because I wouldnt mind doing it, I could churn it out in about a weekend. If anyone seriously wants to see this, say so and I'll start over to redo YI2 since I wasnt trying for entertainment or conrner boosts the first time. Also, the opening menu isnt optimized.
I absolutely want to see this done. Also, we should amend the rules so that Y can be pressed at any time as long as it doesn't affect speed (except while swimming).

I took the liberty of making this awesome WIP. http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/3322/Walkathon%20WIP.smv Walking speed maxes out at 21, whereas running speed maxes out at 49. Theres a big difference between walking and running. The chuck gave me a boost up to 32, but most levels would look like the beginning of YI2, with 21 speed hop glitch for the whole level. Pretty exciting, huh?
Yes, oh god yes. It's beautiful.

What say you all to a "walking" version? Rules: 1. Walking only, no hitting of y/x EVER, except, obviously, at Bowser. 2. See rule 1.
