Your video states your time is 2:37.10.
But your video finishes at video time stamp 2:51 and gameplay looks slower compared to HappyLee's run.
So 2:37.10 can't be right.

I used a stopwatch and I started it the second that Mario starts moving.

You should not submit a run if it doesn't beat all existing records. If you continue to do so you might get stripped of your ability to submit runs.
You can share runs on the TASvideos User files section, or post them on your Youtube channel and link them on the game's forum topic.
But submitting a run is only for when you are certain that it is the fastest record for that game and category.
By searching "Super Mario Deluxe", I found a run in the "warps" category that is faster than your run.

Well, it depends on how you worked hard on it. If we look at the re-record count vs the run length, it doesn't seem to be balanced. In fact, it shows that there wasn't solid effort put into this. 5k rerecords in an 80 minutes can on the first glance say that there are a lot of suboptimal plays out there. Usually, for previous runs and depending on the technicality of the game, a run of this length should have over 20k and above of rerecords.
Now, judging by that only would be really inaccurate and not reflecting how your run was made. I will give this a watch and let you know why, possibly, people voted that. [I understand, so I am new to this website and I am new to making tool assisted speedruns so, yeah I am kind of a new guy here.]
