They've published, what, 10 frame improvements, maybe even less? 6 seconds is quite a bit.

I liked the camera angle at the first bowser level. Nice improvements. I am wondering though if the strategy FODA used to avoid the wind at the third bowser level isn't faster.

So true. I think and hope that this 16 star run of SM64 will become one of the most competed tases ever. Anyway, it's great that the competition has started. I'm eagerly waiting for more tasers to contribute to this run. Six seconds is a lot for me, AKAs run already looked really perfect.

Votes yes on the grounds that there will be an improvement from either you, AKA, FODA or anyone else somewhere in the future. Still, a very nice run. Most of the time I didn't notice a difference except in a few places. Good work.

Well done Rikku, 6 seconds is a respectable improvement. It would be nice to know exactly what has been improved over AKA's though. I liked how you used some different camera angles than AKA, it helps to differentiate between the two. Yes vote.

Improves an already great run! Huge yes vote. Really, really impressed at how "tight" the whole thing felt. Every motion and every action seemed like it was timed perfectly. Hell, using MIPS through the DDD door, he hardly lost any speed. Edit: Please fix up the file name if possable.

Yes vote, in submission text list the specific things that you improved and how you gained time, people like to see that in submissions that obsolete movies

I voted yes of course, I mean wow! 6 seconds of the current strategy is amazing and very noticable! At least it was to me, I mean I notice the zip right into Course 2, that was cool. :P It looks very optimal, though I wonder if the one part over in the Lava level couldn't be done a few frames faster. FODA seemed to get farther up that bridge when defeating the Bully before the star manifested. As for the wind on Bowser 3...that was great how you worked through it! That was nicely executed, I wonder even if the way you did it was faster just out of path directness. Nicely done run!

Things I noticed that are different speed wise are the bob-omb battlefield run to the moving platforms and the glitches such as the BLJ and MIPS. Oh and the final Bowser course, the moving platform bit was done differently. I liked the old run. I like this run. Very nicely done. Would-be Yes vote.

I thought AKA did a better job with the camera angles, but it's a good improvement. Yes.

Glad to see improvement, although I'm sure even this will be obsoleted pretty soon. Voting Yes.

So, the mysterious TASer from YouTube posts his first submission and beats one of the most prestigious runs on the site. Very well done! I love the camera angle at the end of the tunnel in DDD. The texture of the rock passing above Mario was really nice. Loved the camera work as Mario entered the funnel before Bowser 2. At the end of the input, the game pauses for me. Mario doesn't collect the star until I press the Start button on my controller. Is that just me, or does that need to be fixed? Yes vote anyway.

Strangely enough, this run actually completes for me. I thought I had a bad ROM when the rest of the Mario64 runs would end with Mario standing beneath the final star, waiting for me to hit A to make him collect it. This time, he actually grabbed the star for me.

In which name should I change the name ? AKA it was very hard to improve your run. I mean in the middle of the run are you very heavy. Edit: One question. How can I vote for another movies ?

I'm guessing you need enough posts to change your title from newbie to something different. Then you can vote.
