Up to Elfland. If I knew how to write Lua scripts or something similar, I could have found better rounds for the Garland, Pirate and R.Sahag fights. Finding at least pretty good rounds is hard and tiresome, often taking several minutes to come close to what I want. Also, this TAS uses the fastest names possible, because I don't know where the letters are, and I wanted to get on with the actual TAS. I don't know how the RNG works in this version, because it has been improved from the original. Uses a party of a Fighter, Red Mage, and two Black Mages. The Fighter is used for higher damage rolls than the mages can do with Fire, the Red Mage is used mostly for Garland, and the Black Mages are the most useful. I feel like for the first half of the game, I will be taking advantage of the higher strength of enemies, with Conf.

I can't believe it! I had found something in Yellow that made it so you wouldn't have 152 pokemon, but I had totally forgotten until today. I didn't realize that there would be 3 swaps (which wastes a little more time) to get: 1. a rating that doesn't require an button press to clear, and 2. less lag for click items in battle. This is the last improvement with these strategies, for sure. As a reminder, this is not meant to beat any records, just to show something I had discovered a while back... and do that part as fast as possible.

Fixed now, it starts from power on. I just copied and pasted the inputs from my previous userfile, after the reset. I don't know how my TAS is the same number of frames as one done in Bizhawk (which takes 1-2 frames less to start up)

About 6 seconds improvement on Tiger, .01 improvement on Soda Popinski, a 0.66 improvement on Don 2, a 10.34 improvement on Macho... followed by a 1.72 time loss on the final fight. I'll try to improve it, but I just can't seem to do it right now (as in, I tried three times, each time getting me the same realtime, but 2:01.97 instead of 2:00.25.)

This is a 6-second improvement. Now, it's probably submission-worthy, but I'll have to check a possible improvement I just thought of, on Great Tiger. Edit: The original improvement I thought of didn't work, but I still found a massive improvement: one on Tiger, Soda, Macho, and I believe Don 2. Trying to either tie or improve the time of the final fight, now it's giving me a 2:01 instead of 2:00.

up to Lex Lumpblocker 1. I'm not sure how Daniel T did so much damage with his punches in his video, but I beat his perfect times list on Alpha Bonehead and Helmut Skull. Edit: Improved Helmut Skull by a little bit. I'm now trying to see if I can get more 6-punch combinations by manipulating luck at the start.
