This TAS goes through Gyre's old credits warp route, with a slight modification to make it a bit faster. I thought I'd make this TAS in case Gyre's run got deleted from Twitch, which it turns out it did. The current record with this is a 20:50 by Inzult, this run also seems to have been removed. I don't want this route to be lost forever, so I'm uploading it here. The main difference between this and the way the record did it is that they save at the inn and then do all the codes, whereas I do a code that doesn't require a save file, then save at the inn and do the rest of the codes. Another difference is that I'm able to reset and move fewer steps compared to the record, which goes without resetting until the next code.

This is an improvement of about 20 seconds over 10117s, with StackRabbit. I'll check if there's a way to improve it even more by playing at the top, even if the AI I'd use can't really get tetrises.

I get that it's a slightly longer file due to different loading times, but at least the audio is closer to what the FDS would output. While it may not be 100%, it's really close.

Well, not very long, but I wanted to show a possible improvement to Kurikinton's TAS, and the only way I can really do that is through the boss rush. To get to the boss rush without having beaten the game, just press B at the start. By typing end when you find The Guy, you can actually skip the fight entirely, saving a few minutes over the current TAS.

I have no idea what just happened, but I got to the character select screen faster than if I got a game-over. I'm wondering if this could be used for a faster game end glitch? The movie didn't originally have a blank count, so I recorded a wav file and estimated when the movie ended.

This is just a test run. I will come back to this at some point and make a submittable version. Contender Bald Bull was the worst part, as one of my stars was delayed by way more than 22 frames. I can't tell how many frames pass on Dolphin. When I press frame advance once, it sounds exactly the same when I throw my star, and 22 times sounds like less than in a video on YouTUbe of Bald Bull's regular TAS strat. I had to compress the dtm because it was too big to upload here uncompressed (7 MB). Edit: This run has a fatal desync at the end of TD Kaiser. I'll come back to this at some point, but for now, enjoy the TAS up to TD Glass Joe.
