I have no idea what just happened, but I got to the character select screen faster than if I got a game-over. I'm wondering if this could be used for a faster game end glitch? Anyway, here's a video of what happened: Please note: the blank count is probably slightly inaccurate. The movie didn't originally have a blank count, so I recorded a wav file and estimated when the movie ended.

This is a work-in-progress TAS for a Super Mario Bros. 2 ROM Hack known as Super Mario Bros. 2 - 2nd Run.

Game Objectives

  • Aims for the fastest game completion
  • Forgoes warps (because I didn't realize there were warps in this hack)
  • Uses glitches
  • Manipulates luck
I am planning on obsoleting my old TAS made years ago, but I have currently stopped before World 4-1.
Again, I would appreciate some help from you and your opinion in the comments on whether you'd like to collaborate with me.
I forgot to mention this before, but feel free to encode my runs here on my userfiles database. Be sure to give me credit for doing so.

Hello, Sacrifices here. I am currently taking a break from my Kid Icarus TAS to work on other things, like school. I aim for this to be the fastest possible time for double jumping. Double jumping is an exploit in the game, when you get close to an enemy, you have a frame window to jump. The game thinks you are standing on top of the enemy, allowing you to jump again in midair. The emulator I use and the version is FCEUX 2.2.2.
