a neat little side project I decided to work on, I know it's not the fast and exciting all tracks that's the norm, but, I decided to challenge the idea of: "can this be done at all in a reasonable setting"?
These are the first two countries, done on Championship Mode (hardest difficulty)

What is X used for in this run

X is only pressed to either speed up to 1st from 20th, or a lost position, or getting a better angle on 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th to keep 1st place.

What About Nitros

  1. Nitros are used for emergencies only, in the case I need to rebound off of outside objects to stay afloat in 1st place.

Q&A

"Why is minimal nitro in the title if it is slightly inaccurate?" | Minimal doesn't mean "None" in the concept of usage. Nitros are only depleted if it's needed.
"Why are you holding X for long periods of time during the first race"? | It's something I wanted to gloss over, to get the viewer's expectation high, because not soon after lap 3 do I stop holding X ENTIRELY.
"Is this movie more of a challenge run or a playaround"? | Both! Since I playaround by changing gears occasionally and not pressing X for entire races, which forces me to find new alternate routes, even if it means to crash intentionally.
For now, this is only 29 minutes of Countries 1 & 2 (will consider continuing sometime down the line).

Welcome to the most ambitious project for Top Gear 2. This movie is an improvement over the currently published movie of 2:11:59.62 This movie beats the previous movie by 3 minutes and 50 seconds. This project took about 181 days to complete or a little over 5.95068 months, with some off-time, so more so 10 months+

What's New:

1. This run not only improves the previous movie but, increases RNG's chances to be better. I had to readjust to CPU car RNG for a multitude of factors, and it just so happened to be the car color choices. Each color car choice was particularly crafted. The color adjusts to faster starts, and better bumps from 2nd and 3rd. Not doing so, would be slower overall.
2. New wall glitch was discovered in India: Delhi. This was the hardest to find in regards to saving a multitude of minutes. The strategy is so precise that, it was almost impossible to do it at all. The speed variable has to be 198. From my current knowledge, it can't be one of the following speeds: 197, 196, 200, 201, 202, or 191, etc. It has to be 198 MPH. The inputs are also so very precise, the X press and release have to be frame perfect, and the delay from waiting is so I can utilize the left lane to set up the glitch.
3. Better current knowledge glitches are improved, saving multiple seconds.
4. Better Nitro management, better speed adjustments.

2-1 through 2-4 seems good, 2-5 is an early concept, and want to get another 13 or 12-second stage. however, I still, want 3 or 4 seconds out of 2-5 so a 2:01 or 2:00 is viable, but, it's certainly getting harder to maintain, as the stage clear lines become less and less visible & 13 or 12 seconds is becoming near impossible, due to that.

Menuing: The game offers an option for a hidden code at the beginning of the game called the B-A-L-L Code, by pressing B, A, L, L once or consecutively. This B-A-L-L Code allows for 1 player modes to keep the stack from stoping from creating larger chains & combos, however, this hidden code will not be used for the entire run, as it not only bring on more of a challenge to the player *me* but, shows strategic stack rasing and interesting cases of block switching when in dire situations. Putting everything at its largest stack height and creating havoc at every turn possible.
Stage Clear Knowledge: Stage Clear has the player using not only the cursor given to them but, must make strategic choices in combos and chains and for how long the stack needs to be raised. If the player manages to get their panels/blocks beneath this clear line, the game reward the player for beating the level, granting them access to the next level in the series of levels.

How to Create Combos: The combo is created by attaching 4 or more panels/blocks to one another, either by vertically, horizontally or Z shapes. More than 1 combo can be done at a time, creating a big bubble of combos going at once, which not only helps create the clear condition faster but, also looks mesmerizing.
How to Create Chains: While not as necessary in this mode, chains can be made from creating a path to the same shaped blocks that allow a connected path to one another. This can be done if one block section clears above and falls below to string a chain, this can also be done from alternating sides.
