Hey RachelB or natt, can I get an a/v sync version of 3.5 - 1721? Or whatever the latest version is whenever you read this?

Would someone mind making an AV-sync hack build of 3.5-1729? It would be much appreciated.

How do you keep the A/V sync Dolphin from crashing when it tries to split the AVI? Every time I've tried to make an encode over 2GB (in the last few months), it would create a framedump1.avi with 0 bytes and then crash.

Usage of natt's Pipedec is recommended for that on Windows. I'll mention Pipedec here: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=349931#349931.

Is there a 64-bit version, by any chance? It doesn't look like this will work with the 64-bit A/V sync build I have.

No, not at the moment. See https://github.com/nattthebear/pipedec/blob/master/readme.txt.

Natt, I'm not sure how long of a movie you tested the a/v sync hack with, so I figured I'd let you know that when dspdump2.wav reaches a file size of 2 GB, it successfully splits and the audio continues dumping into dspdump3.wav without any break in audio. If you're curious, the TTYD encode reached that point at about 4 hours, 12 minutes.

RachelB (or anyone else), can you please make an a/v sync build of Dolphin 3.0-735? If possible, a 64 bit one? Thanks

I briefly tested playing back a 3.0-735 movie on this old A/V sync build from April 2012, and it appeared to sync perfectly. It's also 64-bit. Try that and see if it works for you.

I'm sorry. :/ Is it possible you could switch to a (possibly newer) revision that's compatible with an existing A/V sync build? It doesn't seem like anyone's filling requests to create A/V sync revisions for the members anymore.

Well...

(posting in English because i'm tired and don't feel like thinking right now) We can't merge natt's a/v sync hack because there are a few problems with it, and it's not very clean code. Someone is planning to rewrite the video dumping feature from scratch, but it's going to take a while. In the mean time, we unfortunately, just have to keep doing what we have been.
and since one of the devs did ask what improvements could be implemented, is it possible for this to get fixed?

If you really need such a build (like I needed it for Paper Mario TTYD) you can apply the patches manually (looking at the patch file, looking what has to be changed, searching it, changing it) and then build it yourself (like I did :D). Doing all this is kind of a huge effort and may take several hours, that's probably the reason why nobody is filling requests.

I don't really need the build, it would be helpful though. As I have no experience about these builds, I have no clue how to do them. I can just continue rendering my videos how I'm used to, editing the audio in Sony Vegas, though, if it's not possible to someone build it.

RachelB: Can you provide a AVSync version for Dolphin 4.0.2, for encoding my RE4 Mercenaries submission?
