You literally said as much in the above quote. You can't say that ppl are required to meet behavioral expectations and that there are no requirements whatsoever (in the exact same post, no less) and expect ppl not to be misled.

Now that that's been dealt with, I've a question about an experience I had.
Earlier this year, I PM'd Memory asking for the Editor role, per this quote:

I did so, and he basically told me that no, it's not glitchless. He only used one glitch in order to get more money. So much for it working as a separate glitchless branch.
I think it's high time I revive this debate, specifically in regards to how to go about unpublishing movies, requesting movies for unpublication, and which movies should be unpublished. Ikuyo made a post earlier this year about a Retraction process, but from what I can tell, it has yet to go anywhere.
I'd love to see an "all dungeons" run of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest.
Given that the only difference between the two versions is the dungeons, an any% run of Master Quest would be pointless imo.
Science publication processes have retractions: flagging of any submitted work as flawed to such an extent that it cannot be trusted. We intend to adopt a similar process. A Publication can be retracted if it is found to violate Site Rules, Terms of Service or contains some otherwise major issue that means it should have not passed the submission process to begin with. A retracted movie will have its publication pulled, and its Submission retroactively rejected, with an explanation on why the movie was pulled. Please note that movies can only be Retracted if the issue with them cannot be handled with the currently in place obsoletion chains: any movie that is obsoleted is still valuable to the site.
We're working on the details of this policy, but for now, we encourage everyone to speak up, via the submission threads or contacting Staff, when you think a movie that has been published should not be. Expect a formal change to Site rules in the coming weeks.
It's been 6 months, and the retraction feature still hasn't been implemented. Is it still being worked on?
Can Wiki: MoviesList be edited to include the site's 3DS runs now that we have some of those? I realize that would require making a new page for that purpose, but in my opinion, anything to make searching for a specific 3DS game easier.
Reiterating this, especially given that more 3DS runs have been published since I made this post.
So aiqiyou asked to replace the submission with a userfile, which is of a significantly faster run that's sub-9. Why did they upload it as a userfile, instead of making an entirely new submission?
People are starting to repeat a lot of ones that were already brought up. Before bringing up any new ones, review these posts and make sure they are not in there. At this point I think there are PLENTY listed for any interested judges to take a look and see if any are acceptable under new rules. Once more have been decided upon either way a new single updated list to look at can be made. Note: There are couple loose ones in other posts not in these.
I request that searching by emulators be added to Wiki: Subs-List. That way, I can search for submissions that use a specific emulator without having to guess the emulator that was used.
It's not that they don't work for my navigation workflow, it's more that I'm too used to Wiki: MoviesList to change to Wiki: Games/List and the like. That, and I've never used any of those other pages.

Few, if any, of the submissions mentioned here have been re-evaluated, especially those on DrD2k9's page. I don't know if it's cuz of lack of manpower or something else, but either way, it's really frustrating for me.
JD, I wonder if something got corrupted on your PC. You could try running sfc /scannow in cmd or PowerShell, and maybe checking your disk's health with a free tool like CrystalDiskInfo, then playing back the TAS again.
Has there been any progress on trying to get the glitch to work properly? The author has not logged in since 2022, and has not made a forum post since making the one above.
Yesterday I converted the run to FM2 and tried getting it to sync in FCEUX...but the emulator crashed partway through, and I couldn't get the rom to boot again after that.
