BizHawk 2.11 has been released! Yes, it runs Doom. BizHawk 2.11 features three new cores:
  • DSDA-Doom, for Doom, Heretic and Hexen
    • Warning: Analog Weapon Selection does not work at all! Wait for 2.11.1!
  • DOSBox-X, for DOS
  • Opera, for 3DO
It also contains a huge number of fixes, improvements, and updates to other cores and aspects of BizHawk.

Inspired by the recent thread by Memory discussing possible TASVideos content, I have decided to host a new type of site hosted event. The TASVideos TAS Jam is about making a TAS with a given theme, with the goal of completing a TAS during the event time. Everyone is welcome to join in, whether you're a newcomer who wants to learn how to make a TAS, a seasoned author who wants to expand their horizons, or anywhere else in their TAS production skills. Famicom: Captain Tsubasa II - Super Striker Entered the password for rematch with Brazil (final match of the game, rematch is available after the first match is ended in a draw) with all players on level 1 and Tsubasa has both Drive Overhead and Cyclone unlocked, manipulated the game so Japan will start the game with the ball. Author: me. Just want to know if that game will be approved on TASVideos. I want to make a TAS in the same matter as the TAS I mentioned in description in the video. Link to video

Thunder Castle WIP file: http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/67300471300731446 This completes the first loop of stages in 2:04.566. After four loops, the difficulty stops increasing and thus would be the point of completion accepted on TASVideos. 5243S (r12) Weatherton I've updated the encode to this 60fps version after realizing that although Mario Kart 64 is generally a 30fps game, it frequently shows some frames for only 1/60th of a second. This usually happens in a way that one frame shows for 3/60th of a second, then one for 1/60th then another for 3/60th of a second. This means that a 30fps encode will sometimes miss these frames. Also, by encoding at 30fps the pacing of the movie is incorrectly represented since frames are updated in increments of 1/60th of a second, not 1/30th. The resulting encode is smoother, less laggy and does not overtly exclude frames. 8:49 PM Diff
