The classic Metal Slug series comes to DS with Metal Slug 7. Although there is only one player this time, this version is notable for allowing the player to keep two weapons and switch freely between them.

The author, mtvf1, completes this game without deaths in a mere 23 minutes and 11 seconds, using Marco.

There is also a version that uses Eri and Tarma. Deaths and continues are used in that version, which is also the only way to switch characters in this game.
