In a shocking twist of events, Bowser kidnaps Peach inside her own castle. Mario shows up and rains on Bowser's parade by collecting all 120 stars and winning in record time.
Numerous bugs are exploited in order to speed up Mario's progress and the physics engine is abused to its fullest.
This is an improvement of 18:08.33 over the previous movie by Rikku.
If you prefer to see the game beaten in the fastest time, then watch the "1 key" run.
If you're looking for a TAS on the Nintendo DS remake, you can watch it here.

An awful lawyer named Tully has kicked The Addams Family out of their house, so it's up to Gomez to throw knives in his face.
Using a glitch that allows the player to warp to the last level, the game is completed in under 2 minutes.
This is an improvement of 00:06.71 seconds over the previous movie. Much of the improvement comes from Gomez using a new route that involves a detour to collect a potion that increases movement speed.

Tiny Toon Adventures (1991), based on a cartoon show of the same name, is a fairly easy game to play. However, it has a nasty bug lurking within it: if you press left and right simultaneously (you can do it if you break your controller's directional pivot), you can get some impressive momentum.
Kyman and Alyosha improve the previous movie by 0.03 seconds, thanks to better optimisation.

Watch this run being played back on a real console.

In a normal playthrough, this game is quite long. You must save four family members then progress to the final area to complete the game.
However, the authors use a glitch to skip directly to the final area, skipping 4/5ths of the game; in addition, several new glitches allow more of the final area to be skipped, saving 22.9 seconds over the previous run.

At first there were 70 stars because Bowser demanded it. Then there were 16 stars because MIPS the rabbit demanded it. Then there was 1 star because Bowser's Sub demanded it. Now there are none because the viewers are impatient and demanded the game be quicker.
As with many other runs on this site, the goal of pure speed has resulted in the complete breaking of the game. Very little of the game's normal play remains. If you'd like to see more of what Super Mario 64 offers, see the 120 stars run.
This movie is approximately 24 seconds faster than the previous movie due to a series of improvements discovered by the authors, detailed in the submission message.
Super Mario 64 has a history of publications on this site. If you wish to see how it unfolded since the beginning, see the page SM64TASHistory. Also, if you have a hankering to see MIPs the rabbit, the 16 stars route has been improved.

Mr. Driller 2 is a fast-paced puzzle game where you have to drill to the bottom of the level within a fixed time limit.
In this run, the author drills through the ten time attack courses in slightly under seven and a half minutes. Furthermore, he aims primarily for in-game time, as it adds to the entertainment value and adds also to the strategy, as there are time bonuses in this mode which subtract time.
This is an improvement of 00:04.77 seconds over the previous publication, with the improvement coming from better routes and better optimization.

This is an improvement of 01:46.91 over the previous run. You can read the author's comments for more information.
Note: While the movie saves over 1.5 minutes from the previous, it still contains a number of vividly flashing scenes, so don't stare at it too closely.

This is a platform beat 'em up based on the anime series Hokuto no Ken. According to the manual, Kenshirou, the main character, has to save the people from the evil Emperor Heaven. The game itself, however, features no story whatsoever, but a lot of platform action instead. You have to run quickly through the levels (there is a time limit), punching and kicking your enemies, causing them to fly away or to explode. Occasionally you will meet a boss, visit secret areas behind doors and collect various power-ups.
This run improves the previous movie by a little over 20 seconds, thanks to greater optimization and a surprising new glitch for beating some bosses very quickly.
There is also a run of the precursor to this game.
